Mongolia’s Parliament Appoints Zandanshatar as Prime Minister

June 13 (Ulaanbaatar) — Mongolia’s parliament has officially appointed Gombojavyn Zandanshatar as the country’s new Prime Minister. The vote took place earlier today.

Following his appointment today, Prime Minister Zandanshatar now has the constitutional authority to propose the structure of the government and name his cabinet ministers. Parliament is expected to review and approve the cabinet structure in the coming days.
